This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what your rights are. It applies to resmemedia.com.

Who we are

This site is run by Flavius Resmerita, operating as Resme Media, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect and why

When you submit the contact form: your name, email, business name, website or social handle, and what you need. We use this only to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to deliver the work. Lawful basis: your consent, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
When you use the chat assistant: the messages you type are sent to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) to generate a reply. We do not store chat conversations in a database. Please don’t type sensitive personal information into the chat. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering your questions.
Technical data: our hosting provider automatically logs standard request information, such as your IP address, to serve the site and keep it secure. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. The site stores only your chosen language in your browser (local storage) so it remembers your preference. Because we use no tracking cookies, there is no cookie consent banner.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site, each with their own privacy terms:

Netlify — website hosting and storage of contact-form submissions.
OpenAI / Anthropic — generate replies in the chat assistant.
Google Fonts, unpkg, Simple Icons — serve fonts and icons. Loading these files may share your IP address with those providers.

Where your data goes

Some of these providers are based outside the UK and the EU (for example, in the United States). Where that happens, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an approved adequacy framework.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to reply and, if we work together, for our business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email resmemedia@gmail.com and we’ll respond within one month.

Complaints

If you’re in the UK and unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). If you’re in the EU, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
